Brian Li
CPA, CA
Brian obtained his CPA, CA designation in 2015 at a traditional “Big 4” accounting firm, where he gained valuable experience servicing large multinationals, before moving to a mid-sized firm as a Tax Manager. It was there that he developed his love for small to medium-sized businesses. He trained under an established Toronto tax lawyer navigating through the complexities of the Income Tax Act and expanding his tax technical knowledge.
He thrives to meet the tax and accounting needs of each individual client and has provided professional guidance both at a personal and corporate level. In 2024, he was promoted to an associate Tax Partner role when he ultimately made the move to open his own practice full time.
Brian graduated from the University of Waterloo’s Honours Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management program in 2011 and completed the CPA Canada’s 3-year In-Depth Tax Course in 2016.
In his personal time, he enjoys volunteering, scuba diving, traveling, playing and watching sports, and most importantly, spending time with his wife and two boys.
